Unfortunately the catalyst Has been discussed at length by AMD. No amount of wishing is going to miraculously change a WDDM support level. AMD doesn't want to invest in making drivers for older cards, screwing thousands of their customers. You don't know what you talking about. I gave my old computer to my brother and he's using windows 8. The only problem I have, is I can't use control center to change the scaling of my resolution since I'm running through hdmi. And I have no need to move to another card since I don't play huge games.
Hi, to anyone that is having this problem Thank you and Enjoy I made the jump today to Windows 10 and like many other legacy mobility card users the support isn't there yet ,. Therefore, I thought I'd make a quick guide of how I got the following drivers installed on my laptop and have the Catalyst Control Center up and running. They are basically the same steps which I had to do with Windows 8. Drivers installed with this guide: I suppose the following steps should also work for graphics card considered legacy now for desktops, however, do note that I applied these steps for my laptop Toshiba LZP with a rebranded Mobility Radeon Credit goes to this page as its the guide I used to get it to work on Windows 8.

Windows 10, through Windows Update, will install a very basic graphics driver that will allow very basic web browsing functions. Your best bet is to stay with Windows 7. There will be no HD drivers for Windows I'm sorry but that is not true. Why wouldn't Windows 10 support a Directx AMD just doesn't want to spend the time to support products older than 5 years.
