Download Driver Sounds Speech And Audio Devices Install Update
Tried to go back to the restore point, but system said that there was a problem and it could not restore my system to the restore point and no action was taken. Device Manager shows no problems. Opened "Sound and Audio Devices Properties" control panel. Since sound loss was systemic, I checked BIOS and it had sound disabled, so I enabled it, but suspect this is for intergated motherboard sound. Checked Windows Audio Service, restarted it and made sure it starts automatically on windows startup.
Did this solve your problem? Sorry this didn't help. It looks like Windows has been told that I have no sound capability at all. Seems like getting these system settings enabled might be the key to geting the sound back. Also, went to Creative and got the latest drivers, etc. That didn't help either. Tell us about your experience with our site. Jim Created on August 28, Nothing has been able to restore any sound to my system.

How satisfied are you with this response? Jim Replied on August 30, It seems to be a systemic problem. In reply to Palcouk's post on August 29, The grayed out part for Device volume, shows it at lowest setting and the show speaker icon in system tray is unchecked.
I hope that helps. In reply to montesjaydee's post on August 29, Sound scheme is set to "Windows Default". This site in other languages x.
Audio Drivers for Windows
Lucke May 6, , 7: Today I reinstalled my windows XP professional ps3 for the very first time and I'm trying to do something with my sounds audio device drivers for like hours without any results. Seems like all other drivers are okay, but this one.. I don't know if it matters, but I don't have sounds icon to use in my toolbar had master volume before. Tried something like changing my getting specific driver for sp2, then changing some numbers I can't remember the place, but that number is required for other sp to because sp3 has , sp 2 - and downloading the driver.
Now no audio will play. I then made the mistake of left clicking on the audio icon in the tray and the 'Troubleshooter' took over. Autonomously restarted my PC twice and now the audio tray icon has an X on it and the audio troubleshooter returns "Audio Device Disabled". The other two devices are missing. How do I get sound back on this PC? Need some help, getting frustrated. The PC is a Dell Latitude which operated normally with respect to audio for over 2 months after the Windows 10 'upgrade'. Method 1 described above did not work to resolve the issue. Method 2 with more detail.
