Brother 2240d Printer Driver Install Update
I took the plunge in upgrading this week. Everything has been fine except for my printers. In the upgrade it brought back a Kodak driver for C that was supposedly uninstalled in window 8. So I have two issues:. Kodak last update on this driver is since they went defunct. No further updates are to be provided on their end I tried running the troubleshooter program in Windows 10 and ended up with no positive results.
I'd like to be able to print again with the brothers driver and eliminate the kodak software. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. I had already followed the link information prior to my post.
When I tried to reinstall the driver the system says it is already on the system, even though its deleted in the printer screen. This is where I believe the windows 8 driver plays into issue. I click one to delete and then the prompt says please: I have deleted any pending documents to print, so this should not be an issue either. This is where I am in limbo at. I need to delete printer info in control panel in order to reinstall a fresh copy.
Did this solve your problem? Sorry this didn't help. I suggest you to remove both the printers from system initially. Then try installing the printer of your choice. For the Brothers printer you may try installing the drivers in compatibility mode to make sure that the drivers are installed properly.
