Intel Gma 3000 Driver Download Windows 7 Install Update
I'm not sure whether a new build of Windows 10 is the problem but trying to install the Windows 7 Intel GMA drivers no longer works on my Hp Mini series laptop. Search engine results and a more recent Tweet reveal that Intel has given up on producing a Windows 10 GMA driver. Pity the thousands and thousands of GMA laptops across the planet have been left in the cold on this issue Anyway, HP support for my laptop can't help, and looking around other forums this is a real problem for thousands out there.
Microsoft must work with Intel to produce GMA drivers. Hope that any of them come forward and solve the problem. Thanks for getting back - appreciated. But yes, I agree, what a farce. It amounts to rubbish customer service - a non-caring attitude suited quite perfectly for the current throw-away generation i. I was going to start a discussion about the same topic when I saw this. As Intel clearly said there would be no Windows 10 support for GMA , all we can do now is just hope that Microsoft will develop a driver.
Could someone from Microsoft at least respond as whether this is feasible or not, especially the one year free upgrade is ending in few months. This way your machine will have a valid Windows 10 key, and you can upgrade for free any time in the future in case a display driver is provided.
I thought to share my experience of upgrading to windows 10 and back. It took almost hours for the whole process to complete and launch Windows 10 welcome screen.
I have Windows 10 on other computers so I'm quite familiar with it, but I spent few hours checking it on the little machine.
The brightness control didn't work and the sleep option in power was missing. Although I have a month but I decided to go back after one day. Going back to Windows 7 was much easier than I thought.
I enabled the GMA adaptor and restarted, and could immediately see the huge difference in display. Initially I was very disappointed and worried but after some little search I found the solution was very easy. Also when you run system image creation it will give you an error of corrupted catalog and ask you to delete it and create new one, just ok and it will be as good as new.
