Acceptable , Sep 3, It's still in the Power Option, aka the Battery icon in the taskbar tray, Right click it and you should see "Desktop mode battery charge" listed on the top, click it then disable in the popup dialog. Here is a picture of where it is and what it look like.
So mine doesn't actually have the "Desktop mode battery charge option. I suspect it's probably because I did a clean re-install of Win10 and removed the pre-installed software that controls that function.

For your information, this is not how to save battery so that you can run your laptop or notebook for longer periods, but by doing this you can extend your battery lifespan, keeping the battery healthy for few years. A normal characteristic of a rechargeable battery is that its operating duration decrease over time. Keeping best battery charging practice would increase its life a little more.
